Unfolding is Nigel Braddock’s second solo piano release. Although he’d written plenty of material for his other projects Broad Oak, The Mung Beings and Cosmo and the Cosmonaut he actually hadn’t composed a new piano piece for ten years when he sat down last December to come up with something. He decided to start with just one note and see what happened. Unfolding is the result. Nigel then wrote another sixteen new pieces in as many days which he’ll be releasing over the next few months. The title of the track refers to how things sometimes unfold whether it’s an experience, a relationship or a journey.
